I(s)land, through the years

A play that is a study on the essence of being an islander, looking into the way of life in the Cyclades in the past and today, but also peeking into the future. A play that brings to view the material and immaterial tradition of the islands, through travelling, waiting, fairy tales and interventions. Time and space are intertwined defining the boundaries of an island in a sea of seeking.
In the play the forces of an island confront each other. The wind, tourism, faith, the sea all talk through snapshots with a man who tries to understand who he really is. Visual arts, poetry and music make up a special theatrical journey.
